JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

What will you do?

You can get a position in two different areas. You can choose between:

• Health and Medical Care
  Your tasks may include helping patients get dressed or serving food. You may transport patients between different departments, handle laundry, restock supplies, wash dishes, or prepare for new patients by making beds, for example. Workplaces may include hospital wards or reception areas at the hospital or health centers.
• Administrative and Service Work
  Tasks may vary and can include archiving documents, updating information in databases, or writing advertisements. You may also assist with various service tasks. Workplaces may include our HR, IT, communication, or facilities department.

How long does the summer job last?
The summer job for high school students lasts for three weeks during the summer vacation, starting on June 15 with a mandatory information day and continuing until July 3, with a joint closing day. You will work weekdays, 6 hours a day, which means 30 hours a week, starting no earlier than 7:00 AM and ending no later than 7:00 PM. The compensation is 125 SEK/hour + vacation pay (no salary will be paid in case of absence). You will have a supervisor and receive a schedule for your work weeks. You will also be provided with work clothes if needed for your position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who can apply?
You who are graduating from year 2 of high school this summer (17 or 18 years old) and can work during the entire period and are residing in the county.

How do I apply?
You apply on our website under job vacancies. In this recruitment, we use selection questions, which means you do not need to attach a CV or cover letter but only answer the questions.

When should I apply?
Apply as soon as you can! The last application date is February 28.

How are the positions determined?
Selection is made by lottery, based on your meeting the requirements for the position and considering your desired work area. Selection occurs after the last application date. If you get a position, we will contact you for further information by phone or email. You will also receive information if you are an alternate or did not get a position this time. You will also receive information by mail as the summer job approaches.
